Campers must be 21 years of age to reserve a campsite.
All campers and guests must register at the office.
Please keep car passes displayed on the rearview mirror at all times during your stay.
Vulgar language or inappropriate behavior by adults or children will NOT be tolerated. Unacceptable or offensive conduct will be determined by campground management and any camper whose conduct is disruptive will be asked to leave the campground without refund.
Individuals involved in activities that are illegal or could be harmful to others will be evicted from the campground immediately without refund.
Parents or Guardians are responsible for their children’s behavior and safety at all times. PLEASE NOTE: There are no lifeguards on duty at the beach areas.
All children of campers under the age of 18 must return to their own campsite by 11:00pm. Everyone must observe LakeJoy Campground’s quiet hours from 11:00pm to 8:00am. Please keep voices, radios and amplified sounds low enough that they cannot be heard outside of your campsite.
The speed limit is 10 miles per hour through-out the campground.
ATV’s are only to be driven to and from campsites to the off-campground ATV trails.
Golf carts must be registered at the office. Drivers of golf carts must be 16 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license (driver’s permits are not acceptable). Golf carts driven after dark must have working headlights.
No bicycles after dark.
PLEASE NOTE: For 2008, There is a size minimum of 15 inches for bass and catfish to be kept. Northern and Walleye are catch and release. The maximum number of panfish kept per day will be 20 per person.
Trolling motors only are permitted on the lake.
No woodcutting or removal of branches from any trees alive or dead is permitted.
Please leave campsites ready for the next camper and deposit all trash in designated containers.
Dogs must be well behaved and on a leash at all times. No dogs are to be left unattended on a campsite in the absence of their owner. Pets are not allowed on the beaches or in swimming areas. Campers are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
Campfires are permitted in fire rings only. Please be sure that your fire is out before retiring to bed or leaving.
One picnic table and one fire ring is provided for each overnight site. Please do not move fire rings or tables without advance permission.
All grey and black water must be contained in your camper or certified transfer tank. A dump station is available free of charge for your convenience.
Absolutely NO fireworks or firearms are permitted on the campground.
